I successfully convinced the gender clinic I'm trans enough to go on the bottom surgery wait list πͺ
Now it's only another year long wait
How hard is doing that convincing? Guessing its more than clicking a box on an online application...
It wasn't so bad, I've transplained gender to a couple nursing classes for my professors. It was kind of like that but I got to really open wide about stuff. Also, they were concerned about stuff like my reactions to general anesthesia etc
I'm feel like a deer in a headlights for any sort of discussion about that :\
Have you had problems in the past? Or just the normal questions the anaethesiology or their assistant always seem to ask?
No, it's just a standard intake question before any surgery. I ask it at my work too (I'm a nurse).
I'm quite open about it at work and comfortable with being trans. One of my coworkers had no idea (somehow) for a year despite that lol, that was a nice boost
