Only 56% of Americans said that undocumented immigrants should be given a path to citizenship.
This hits nice and hard as I read through Settlers for the first time.
It’s like this shit never ever changes in the USA, just a little shift in the flavor of the bloodlust.
This is why I tell people to read Settlers. No, I don't give a fuck that the author wrote under pseudonym; no, I don't give a fuck that his mail goes to PO box; I'd do the same exact shit if I was going to write an unvarnished-and-honest history of cracker malfeasance from even just the Civil War up, never mind going all the way back to the pilgrims.
There's no better way to learn the monstrous vileness of the settler that doesn't put your very life in danger.
