It’s a dumb take because you didn’t suggest any alternative and it sounds like you’re just bitching for the sake of it.
They're right though. There is no alternative because of the two party system. Obviously republicans aren't an alternative, so what else is there? It's a very frustrating situation that makes you lose any sort of faith of the future of the political system.
They're not right because they're not discussing in good faith.
It’s a dumb take to state the truth? That’s interesting.
Dems don’t give a fuck, if they did they would’ve codified roe most recently when Obama had both houses of congress.
There’s no alternative, the DNC forces shit candidates down your throat who do shit like what’s mentioned above. The republicans force candidates who exploit the dnc’s lack of fucks they give about you.
What’s your solution? what I already said? Keep voting dems and still not get abortion codified?
To be clear, Obama had both houses of Congress for 72 days and they passed Affordable Care Act and Patient Protection Plan. That's not nothing.
And how does that make it okay that they failed to codify Roe?
Not to mention the fact that the ACA drafting came from Mitt Romney and failed to provide a proper safety net. We can see that in the fact that the ACA , and especially the individual mandate, have been gutted.
Don't blame one side for the action of another. You'd still have it if republicans didn't take it, nothing to do with Dems. Dems didn't take your rights away, republicans did, blame the right people.
They want you to be apathetic which lowers voter turnout on the left. Keep voting. Not just for the president either.
To what end?????? We vote them in and they still refuse to do shit like codify Roe lmao. Vote harder is not a solution to the problem of our representatives failing to represent us
I mean if they'd been voted in there wouldn't be a republican majority supreme court and roe wouldn't have been overturned in the first place.
If dems codified roe like they promised they would, that wouldn’t matter
And if republicans didn't take away your rights it wouldn't matter, stop trying to blame the wrong people.
To make a better world, dipshit
Ever see a Democratic stronghold state? Guess what they all have codified into law?
All this "democrats wouldn't give it to us even if they could" is particularly stupid because it is demonstrably false. Plenty of Democrat led states already have abortion rights. And living wage laws. And consumer protection. And stronger health care support. And free community college. And and and
What you think is a better world, maybe. Democrats don’t do nearly enough to provide progress at the rate we deserve, they throw scraps to make it lesser of two evils. If you want incremental change, and usually 1 step forward and 2 steps back, then keep doing what you’re doing, dipshit
And your alternative is?
