If Trump simply did what polls show is popular he would be the most progressive president of all time. When you ask Americans about issues and strip away political party bias, the average American is to the left of the average Democratic politician (i.e. like how a majority of Americans want universal healthcare but dems won’t even utter a word about single payer.
Yes, if he did that about everything all the time.
