Not like Liz Cheney is an ally, but the fact that libs choose to hold on to this part of Melon's story as a point of criticism shows you how conditional their so-called allyship is. You're only a good immigrant if you're the poor, make spicy food, stereotyped underclass type.
It's the same as people misgendering Caitlin Jenner because she supports Trump.
It's the same as them referring to Trump as "the felon".
They don't even see it as an issue how fucked it is of them to focus in on "he was in prison, NOW he can't be president." Especially for people who usually like to pay libservice about "police reform" and the like
