I straight up hate driving. My ADHD having ass cannot help but try to tease apart how to build a working man-portable gauss rifle while driving, and not only does it make it insufferable to ride with me driving because I'm always wobbling a little bit, but it makes me dangerous to everyone else on the road when I miss my medication. You know that driver that you go "I can't believe they just let everyone drive" when you see them drive, yeah, that's me. I'm not proud of it. I would 10000x prefer to bike or take public transit to driving, but my city has practically made public transit completely impractical to use on purpose, and the bike lanes are all super fucking dangerous bicycle gutters in my part of town.
In point of fact, MOST people suck at driving. Just think about how good a driver you consider the average driver to be. Wouldn't it be better to get the "average driver" off the road? Wouldn't it be better to let people like me have some alternative to driving around a steel sled at 35 mph?
