It's a bummer that the one big pop punk band to come out of the actual punk scene could be better. They've been exposed to radical politics. They're also still mad the people at Gilman wouldn't let them play after signing to a major or something.
Yeah it sucks. They are radical libs (afaik they don't have the term radlib brain worms) but they really do stop at libs for all their anti authority posturing.
They are still miles better than the average band and in a less fucked world they might be great
The dudes in fucking Neurosis noticed they had something and should be a big band. I agree. Last release I've heard from them was American idiot but at least up til then they had some really good songwriting chops. Insomniac is an amazing album
