That reminds me of when a far-right candidate for parliament in France (in 2022) prepared a picture of his (black) wife ahead of a debate, so that when confronted with the fact that his party has a history of harbouring neo-nazi and other racist higher-ups he showed it and said: "A picture of my wife. Thank you."
Especially funny since there is a trope of the rich white french dude being really into dark-skinned african women, while being extremely chauvinistic.
