If you find an injured owl:

Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.

Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.

Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.

If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.

Oh no, he looks just like that Molesting Owl on the sign!

That is some interesting capitalization they chose... 🤔

I was just minding my own business when suddenly a molesting owl just totally ruined my day.

Title case is for when you want to get artistic with things. Do you capitalize their? Maybe, maybe not.

I would have gone with "That" if it were me.

Protected Bird Site is the title though.

Maybe Burrowing Owl Nesting Area could be called a subtitle.

But the rest is no longer a title!

Even that fine print on the bottom looks to go back to title case again.

That's too much title!

their should definitely be capitalized. Only articles and prepositions up to 4 letters should not be capitalized, their meets neither of these criteria. is is also miscapitalized.

I feel some rules of grammar have changed since I was in school, which I find both cool and annoying at the same time. We've had English a long enough time one would think all this would be well ironed out by now, but it's also exciting a bit that the language isn't stagnant. At the same time, it also probably makes me look s but ignorant since I am likely unaware of a decent number of changes. 😅

The real rules center around major and minor words. Specifics are down to individual manuals of style. And what are major and minor words you ask? Check your manual of style.
