Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Elon Musk issued a curt rebuke of ketamine abuse allegations after a viral clip of his erratic behavior at a dinner recirculated online.

The clip—taken in March during a visit to Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf club in New Jersey—shows Musk balancing spoons at a dinner table while one of his baby mamas, Shivon Zilis, watches in silent concern.

At the time, X user and “retired army medic” Molly Ploofkins tweeted the clip with the caption, “Musk playing with his silverware while tripping on ketamine at Bedminster.”

You're very optimistic.

he did a few awful things in this state of terror(setting fire to the psychiatric hospital twice, push a old lady in front of a bus -she was not hurt as the bus was imaginary,too-, stabbing a kindergarten teacher in front of her class)

Scale this up for the richest man on earth and I dread what can happen.

Yeah my main worry is that people are so unbelievably obsequious towards billionaires and reich-wing "leaders" that even an obviously psychotic one might not get them to pause and think about what the hell they're doing

You mean like the current one?

[–] hydroptic@sopuli.xyz 7 points 3 days ago

Well there's obviously psychotic, and then there's obviously psychotic

You're watching it.

Yeah, can happen. Or he does something so self harming (like trying to open the door of his jet midflight) that they "hide him". Most of these cases tend to be so uncoordinated, that even being superrich won't help much.

We will see. I hope you are not right - but your concern is absolutely valid.

Yeah I could see the jet door opening while he’s screaming ‘ITS ALL JUST A SIMULATION’

and maybe it is but at least the rest of us can live more in peace within the simulation after that.
