I've never thought to myself that I couldn't see a car well because of its color, maybe at night I guess but if the lights work it doesn't matter.

Now those hyper polished cyber trucks you've probably seen pictures of, that's crazy

Might be a country related thing. In Australia our country roads are blue black. There's a popular colour for cars that is almost camouflage. You see the car but slower.

IMO it’s more of a problem in busy traffic. If 95% of cars have lights on, your brain will subtly look only for lights. Especially dangerous in countries like USA where there are so many unprotected left turns and where right on red is allowed.
