there's some SF stuff if you want to think a little and maybe not feel bad.

Fanon is for if you want to think a lot and have a bad couple of days.

I do want to think too much and feel terrible actually! I jest hah, I love sci-fi but I am looking for something that can give me a clearer view of leftist struggles or more guidelines for action to take, so something that can elicit the fervor of righteousness would be good.

I 100% recommend Fanon. If you want a shorter in to similar thinking and similar feeling, you can read "Discourse on Colonization" by Aime Cesaire, who was one of Fanon's teachers and influences. It rips so hard, and it gets me thinking and feelings all kinds of good and bad.

Any of the SF stuff you’d recommend?

uhhhh i haven't read non-slop in a while,

Terry Pratchett and Ursula Le Guin are pretty good in general, people like The Culture series by Ian M Banks as a more ambitious Star Trek but I didn't hear about it until after my brain fully broke so i haven't read them.
