I have a lot of thoughts.
This
Why does he deserve it? What did I miss?
Massacring civilians in Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Iraq
Couping the governments of Honduras, Ukraine, and Egypt
Arming and funding right-wing dictatorships in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
Keeping Guantánamo Bay open
Deporting more people than Trump ever did
Dismantling his own grassroots progressive organization leading to the loss of over a dozen states to the Tea Party
Provided cover for BP during the Horizon Oil Disaster
Bailed out Wall Street and pushed millions into homelessness and rentiership
Massively expanded the illegal surveillance state, pretty much spying on everyone and anyone
Operation Fast & Furious, i.e. sanctioned illegal gun running by the government
Funded, armed and trained Al-Qaeda in Syria, leading to the rise of ISIS
"Amended" the Smith Mundt Act to make it easier for the US government to spread blatant propaganda at home and especially overseas
Used the IRS to target progressive groupings like Occupy Wall Street, got so bad the director of the Exempt Organizations Unit of the Internal Revenue Service Lois Lerner resigned
Signed the Lehey Smith America Invents Act, which fucked over inventors and gave corporations increased ability to steal tech and hoard it
Prosecuted more journalists than any previous president in history by criminalizing whistleblowing
Every US president is a war criminal
Some people might object to this by saying thst several US presidents predate the concept of war crimes.
But that's fine because they apply retroactively
Leading a campaign of Hope and Change to sheepdog progressives into his neoliberal agenda where their victories were symbolic and his were political, financial, and military, and then using his hard-fought icon status to attack every progressive who tried to make positive change after him.
Quite a lot it seems but that's okay! Stick around here and keep asking good questions and learning from the answers :)
Massive amounts of war crimes like bombing a wedding to start with
Bombing Libya, being a neolib
Trump is probably going to argue that Obama's foreign policy (reducing sanctions on Cuba, trying to realign Russia) weakened America's position and is therefore treason, see also Benghazi, Chinese loan after 2008, Iran nuclear deal.
That being said, it's probably going to be a nothing burger
Nah, it's something about rigging the 2016 presidential race (which eagle-eyed readers may know Trump won anyway) by working behind the scenes to push Russiagate. The "evidence" they've released so far is comically shaky, with the main bit being that a briefing that may have said Russiagate was false was postponed, Obama ordered an investigation into Russiagate within a day of that cancellation, and that info of this investigation was leaked suspiciously quickly. Imo even the Trump-appointed hogs in the court system wouldn't back this.
I read that it's about internal CIA memos concerning russiagate. The CIA said that russia can't really affect vote tallying. I believe that because the CIA stated that, Tulsa Gabbard claims that the investigation into Trump and his family by the CIA was election interference by the Obama administration and the CIA head at the time that capitulated to Trump and then was later fired by Trump.
