DEI in japan would probably include white people too I guess but that wouldn't be a problem for them.
Trying to convince chuds that it was DEI when they let James Turner design the cringe woke Vanillite line (it's just ice cream, we hate object design pokemon now for some reason)
The largest racial minority in Japan is US troops (idk if that's true but I read it somewhere and it sounds provocative and interesting so I repeat it a lot) so really the DEI is every time an anime character is white or American.
DEI in Japan are japanese descendants from emigrants that came back to work and suffer massive prejudice.
Knowing chuds, they’d point to Game Freak having a feeeemale as a senior analyst in the budgeting department as evidence of DEI ruining Pokemon designs.
