Also, it may depend on your positionality.

I know a few comrades that will vote for Biden because they're trans and don't want Trump and his Plan 2025 to be enacted.

Others are too disgusted with him enabling genocide in Gaza.

But you shouldn't let people peer-pressure you into voting one way or the other or not voting at all.

What I'm trying to say is: what do you want to do?

Plan 2025

Christ, do I even want to know? Or is this panic attack inducing?

It's the same shit republicans have always been trying to do, but with more christofascism

it's really bad, it's basically the conclusive, deliberate, and explicit turn towards uppercase F Fascism.

I'm not going to link it for sanity's sake but you can find out about it very easily by googling "project 2025”

Just skimming the thing on wiki makes it looks like the Enabling act 2.0

But that’s the thing. If you live in a completely red state, why do you think voting for Biden will prevent project 2025? How is it any different from a throwaway “protest” vote?

National election voting in a state that isn't a swing state doesn't matter anyways, I figured we could all come to the table trusting each other to understand this as foundational, but I suppose we can re-hash it and make it explicit if it makes the discussion more clear

Well, I'll have to save that watch for another day.

Yeah! It's a doozy and there is a lot that isn't mentioned in that 20 minute video.

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
