why would they debate this election has been over since it started
same two old fucks as last time that are corporate as hell and won't do shit for the american people
at least now the two corporate parties have stopped the theater act and are just like fuck it does not matter anyway our shareholders will win either way
One wants to install a real fascist state for the first day of their second term. The other not.
Keep repeating this.
One will pardon every convicted felon from January 6th. The other... will continue to keep them in jail.
Totally the same!
I doubt that. Trump will only pardon people for whom there is an economic advantage for him to do so.
There is an advantage to signaling to your extremist followers that you will shield them from consequences, so they can do their worst with impunity.
That's how dictatorships work. And there's an economic advantage to being a dictator.
But he already played that up and left people out to dry in his 2016 campaign
J6 insurrectionists already hoped/expected Trump to issue pardons before he left office
But the same crowd still support him. So he knows already knows he doesn't have to protect them. He pardoned a bunch of 2016 campaign insiders because they were a liability to him if the decided to turn on him. So I genuinely don't think he will pardon anybody where there's not a clear quid pro quo of how it directly benefits him.
They should debate so people can understand that they are not the same despite some people repeating it over and over again as if they can convince other people.
not repeating over and over again
suffering through the Democrat/Republican rule over and over again worse every year
and every time a glimmer of hope shines through we have the corporate parties to shut it out
remember when the two parties chained a presidential candidate to a chair because they were afraid of someone else on the debate floor
elections have turned into a political soap opera with two people bashing each other
Every once in a while it would be nice if you people got new talking points.
I agree with SatansMaggotyCumFart
Shitting on Biden is the only strategy Trump supporters actually have. It's not like Trump stands for anything they can say out loud.
Are you a GOP bot? You must be a GOP bot.
I don't remember the parties chaining a candidate to a chair. I know you're not talking about Jill Stein as that would be a gross mischaracterization. It would be like me saying she was a paid agent of Putinist Russia.
It's easy to act flippant and cynical online but it's hard to propose actual solutions that are viable and, most importantly, put in the work year round.
Here's the reality: In november it's trump or biden. That's it. That's how it is. And we all know that trump is objectively the worse option. So let's deal with reality. When the election is over we've got another 4 years to figure it out before the next national election.
This shit takes work. I'm tired of people saying nothing matters for 6-8mo just complaining endlessly then disappearing for 3.5 years and doing absolutely nothing to help push better candidates and policies in the interim. I don't know what you do personally but this is generally how people operate and it's not productive.
