I kind of dropped this from what I was saying because I was keeping it as an unspoken assumption (note that I'm not upset or anything that you didn't have that assumption!! it ain't your fault at all), but I think that it is also critical that anyone can do what they want forever! If you want to shave your legs, you can! I've taken the path to where I am because it was the best path for me, but I can't tell you what the right path is for you. If you want to wear dresses and put on makeup no one will stop you! My critique was about some tendencies in the discourse on a societal level but I don't think it should apply on a personal level. The point of my critique is about how women are pressured on a societal level, and I think that as with any sort of social force it's bigger than any person. I don't think there's anything stopping you from preferring dresses and makeup but still performing solidarity with women who don't! If it was impossible, it would be just as impossible for women to have any solidarity with men.
As a final note, I think women of all kinds (cis and trans) are beautiful, and I don't think anything will change that
That sounds like a very christian brainworm to me tbh, I think that's something that is worth reexamining.
