Arabic and related languages just seem to be inherently poetic in a way English just can't be

I don't know, if you read old letters even the casual correspondence is often really gorgeous.

Maybe those are just the letters we keep, though

Victorian writers indulged in purple prose even in their letters, yes, but Arabic transliterations tend to be metal as fuck
