got appointed to a position with the federal government with onboarding scheduled to start in about two weeks.

took an at-home THC test after a month abstinent and it was positive

i was recommended for the post by someone I knew and now they're going to look bad to their higher ups

hard agree with the other posters saying you still got this

a month and a half is a long time, and at home tests have high false positive rates. even if its a genuine positive you can test again closer to the date or you can just try to detox for two weeks. just dont overdo it the day before the test and flunk on dilution. I've heard of tons of people detoxing in less than a week successfully

If it comes back too dilute they just have you come back in. It isn't considered a positive result.

Yeah I mean I guess. Still, if you've got weeks worth of time and haven't smoked in a month already, why risk it
