My high school history teacher once told the story of how she and her husband (another high school history teacher who was one of her teachers) “started dating when she graduated” and I was like “yeah, after… I bet…”

This was a problem back in the day. Like "we just started dating after she graduated". Nowadays it's a big no no, it's just assume that the teacher, at best was grooming her when she was in his care.
