Mhm can be pretty painful if you aren't used to it or don't have a pain tolerance

Cypro and hrt have really done a number on my body hair tho, so I think it's feasible.

[–] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 9 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Oh really?! I thought hrt wouldn't reverse/change body hair.

Mine's definitely grown in less/thinner/slower.
When I switched from spiro to bical the opposite weirdly happened and it started to grow in more, or at least that's how it felt, which is why I switched to cypro.

That's incredibly exciting aubrey-happy I thought male puberty was a one way ticket for the stuff, unless I got laser/electro

for facial hair it sadly is bocchi-cry

[–] magi@hexbear.net 9 points 7 months ago

I'm glad that it sorted after the switch to cypro

I'd hate to have my body hair grow back to where it was... though it wasn't overly bad, certainly not a hairy back or anything but to have everything kind of stop or thin out it was a welcome surprise.

It is a case of ymmv or genetic lottery but it can vary depending from stopping to thinning or lessening the amount. Plus overall the hair should be less coarse in general.

Well I'm owed at least one good genetic trait, so here's hoping.

Does that mean the hair on my head will be thinner too?

[–] magi@hexbear.net 7 points 7 months ago

It shouldn't affect your head hair only body

I found it's more how much effort I want to put in. But I do enjoy the effects when I'm done, worth it to be smooth. I had good results on cypro too, a lot of my body hair just stopped growing over time which was nice.
