I never did anything like that as a kid but that sounds absolutely awesome. Any advice on getting into it? I was thinking of trying out Blade and Sorcery (maybe something like this?) with some realism mods just for fun, but at some point I'd love to take classes. I'm probably moving soon though, so that will have to wait at least a few months.
Uh Idek sorry, it's been so long, it was probably expensive Idk. I just went to a local place, no experience required. If I were still healthy I'd actually get back into it, super fun.
Game looks poppin tho.
For games, Hellish Quart's an interesting one focused on historical fencing (although I haven't played it myself yet). It's a fighting game rather than first person but it seems pretty neat, and it's got a big cast of characters, each focused on a specific weapon & style of fencing. There's even a schiavona guy
