Have you tried melatonin? I thought I would never fall asleep last night, but it actually worked. I woke up pretty early though, on my “don’t need much sleep” shit. Also helped I exercised a lot tho.

Edit: also must concede it finally rained, so not too hot.

I took two 3mg melatonin tabs which made me tired but did not shut my brain off :^)

It's cooler here today too which is nice tbh, thought I would sleep with less humidity...

Aw, checks out. Could try meditation. There’s specific guided sleep ones if you don’t like just following your breath. Routine really helps me fall asleep: shower, journal (get the thoughts out), stretch, read. Then I’m sleepy, or read til my eyes want to close. I do a lot to turn the brain down, but it’s difficult unless it’s in the mood.

Yeah, I was on here a little late too. Times for sleeping are very not set in stone for me right now because of summer and the variation in my impulses.
