Apparently my prolactin has more than doubled since the last bloodtest. Probably nothing to be concerned about, since I did have a cold when taking this most recent blood test, and I've also read that it's normal to have high prolactin when taking cypro
Huh, weird blood work test. Wonder why it was ordered? Just thinking through it, wonder why they'd even wanna look... it's like a potential cause of ED or menstrual problems (I guess depending on equipment) but so much random crap also makes it go up, like, just stress - like, yeah, you having a cold could've done it. It goes up with sleep and having sex and exercising and having had a surgery etc. I guess it could also be caused by hypothyroidism but, surely, a TSH lab would've been ordered instead...
You don't have to disclose why lol I was just so curious about what the doc was thinking.
I'm pretty sure most blood tests will look at some general levels in addition to the particular ones that were ordered for the test, like my doc mentioned how all my other levels looked healthy at our first appointment barring one to watch for and at the past few has mentioned how that one has stayed pretty consistent and should be fine.
Yeah, they check for a bunch of stuff besides just E and T
