I jest from the 90’s, but seriously, in the 1930’s-50’s it was cool.

If it’s cool again, then all the better for culture.

My son played tenor sax for a couple years in elementary school and he was naturally amazing in tonal quality. His embouchure was fucking ON POINT num sayin’? Pity he gave up.

Alternatively, people may think they're expressing "criticism" while just being blunt and cruel. Criticism doesn't mean belittling someone.

And I know too much about this, as a teacher. Some of my colleagues wish they were little tyrants..
