I never know what the heck these folks are talking about.

I guess I need to go do my research…

It's pretty clearly MATH! The Universal matrix, it's circular.

[–] LesserAbe@lemmy.world 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You can tell because the Math mascot, Venom, is also in the image

Might be a reference to the symbol of the symbiote god, which is a spiral.

Everybody knows that impact craters should be perfectly square instead. Plebs.

[–] tyler@programming.dev 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

What shape do they think it should be???

No. They should be shaped like donald trump's erect penis.

So the moon is full of machines as well?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

I would not be at all shocked if they said the craters on the moon were the remnants of ancient Atlantean cities or something.

Fucking Vogons. We were so close to finding out the question.

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

Wasn't there a super simple experiment where they threw rocks at a tub full of dust and no matter what shape rock they threw or what angle or how fast, it always left a circular impact crater?

What properties does the universal matrix have btw? Surely it can't be square

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Somebody has never in their life washed dishes in a sink.

[–] cerement@slrpnk.net 3 points 3 months ago

next up, the math of fractals …

[–] laserm@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

I doubt they even know what a math matrix is..
