my cat, peace be upon her, used to love finding a flip flop to scratch and rub her face all over. I caught her with her face inside a shoe many a time

Yeah my best friend's cat Micky (also rip) was a fiend for shoes. He'd get mad at you for leaving because you were taking your shoes with you.

My old dog, Jessie, would do something like that. I don't remember, because she stopped by the time I was old enough, but we had a picture of her sleeping soundly with her whole snout inside of my dad's dress shoe. Super cute.

One of mine absolutely loves to shover her head down shoes. Sometimes she gets a little stuck and it sounds like a one legged man is hopping around my kitchen at 3am.

I had a cat that would sleep at the end of my bed and would literally attack my feet in the middle of the night when I would turn over.
