There is a guy who lives in the rich town next to mine whose Jeep is absolutely covered with Rush bumper stickers

The sole exception is a single Sig Sauer sticker

Which is the primary reason I spent the 20 minutes I was stuck behind him in traffic making fun of him

Hey, until you accidentally shoot yourself in the leg due to its fundamental flaws, the P320 is an excellent firearm.

My partner has made enough jokes about getting a jeep that I think they might actually want one and are just soft floating it by me. I'm not sure I'm ready to become a jeep entity.

I liked the band until I discovered the drummer is or used to be a libertarian. That's like the least cool thing you can be.

Not naturally aging out of libertarianism is extremely suspect.

Neil kind of did, though. He was more into the Randian shit early on, but he definitely admitted to getting far more iffy about it.

Rolling Stone asked Peart, “Do [Ayn Rand's] words still speak to you?” He responded:

Oh, no. That was 40 years ago. But it was important to me at the time in a transition of finding myself and having faith that what I believed was worthwhile. I had come up about that moral attitude about music, and then in my late teens I moved to England to seek fame and fortune and all that, and I was kind of stunned by the cynicism and the factory-like atmosphere of the music world over there and it shook me. I’m thinking, “Am I wrong? Am I stupid and naïve? This is the way that everybody does everything and, had I better get with the program?”

That's really good to hear. I don't really care for Rush's music but kudos to anyone who outgrows Rand bullshit

Sure but I mean I think I'd lose my mind a bit if my wife and kid were killed in a car accident, too
