Clearly, as they are not Gen Sigma yet

Was Gen Z cooked?

Were Millennials cooked?

Was Gen X cooked?

Were Boomers cooked?

I've said it before, I will say it again: People have always complained about the current generation when their own generation was little different and was also complained about.

I say yes. Gen Z and millenials are cooked mainly because of the terrible economic conditions they were born in. Gen Alpha, I imagine it's gonna get worse.

Yes, let us judge literal children with practically zero agency.

Hot take; no.

By the time they are 20-30 year olds its going to be us in power and making decisions, we will act as a stablizing force in our old age.

Yes most people have said this, and been wrong. (the old people drift right as they get older meme)

But for us, things are not getting better and we are not drifting to the right.

Huuummm the gen Z and millennials that will be in power eventually are the children of the current psychopathic elites. They are NOT like most of us. They are just like their parents.

I mean I’m the first to support a revolution 🤷‍♂️ if capitalism has no haters I’m dead.

As tempting as it is sometimes, doomerism is counter revolutionary. Not to be confused with being down sometimes or contending with depression. Taking a stance, even if meant in jest (and doomerism does go for dark humor sometimes) that suggests there is no hope is a problem. That's not even getting into the problems with feeding narratives about exaggerated differences between generations, which is a divide and conquer thing, and doesn't help us build solidarity with anyone.

There are observable differences between generations in culture and conditions they face, to a certain extent, but exaggerated statements about them that suggest helplessness or a fixed, doomed state of being is not a good idea. And the liberation cause is one where people have more in common, usually, than they have differences.
