Was Gen Z cooked?

Were Millennials cooked?

Was Gen X cooked?

Were Boomers cooked?

I've said it before, I will say it again: People have always complained about the current generation when their own generation was little different and was also complained about.

Stuff like "Gen Alpha is crazy!1!1!1!1!1!1!" to me is not very different from literally every other generation being complained about so I can safely ignore stuff like that. I don't see how Gen Alpha is super different from any previous generation when they were around the same age.

Sounds to me like America's going to fully take the mask off and go fascist in a year or two.

This was originally going to be a post where I wanted to have us all share stories about family members and friends of ours that are unhinged reactionaries. As in, people who are a step further below your average liberal or conservative. I encourage you guys to still share your stories below, but I realized that this post seems more like an excuse to vent about my brother, and I will take this opportunity to do so.

I still live with my mom, (parents are separated) and so does my brother (we will call him Tony). I will be living with them until I am done with an online college and have obtained a driver's license. Tony's job doesn't pay enough for him to move out so he stays home.

In general, my family is pretty right-wing. I'm the only person I know in the family who is a commie. My parents are Trump supporters, but they seem mainly harmless and uneducated, they just think Biden is doing a really bad job but Trump might help them out. Tony goes steps further than that. The man is not uneducated, he is heavily miseducated. You know people like Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Ron DeSantis, etc? He has similar beliefs as those people. He's further right than Trump. The man is much more politically confident than my parents (he has a different father), and has much worse views.

Here are some more facts about Tony:

  1. He is homophobic. Of course he is, he's a conservative. Except my parents, despite being Trump supporters, have pretty tame views on homosexuality. The guy no joke said that LGBTQ stands for "Let The Gays Burn The Quickest". He also said that gays spread AIDS everywhere. He hates Ellen DeGeneres not because she's only pretending to be nice but because she's a lesbian.

  2. He's anti-abortion. My parents, once again, are pro-choice in certain conditions.

  3. He denies climate change. When I informed him about the Amazon Rainforest burning years ago, he just sang "Let it burn." Then he unironically said that it wasn't that bad and that birds would just come around and plant the trees back or something like that. He pointed out that they fixed Chernobyl without mentioning the intense effort by the Soviet government to do so.

  4. Whenever I cry and he sees me, he just mocks me. He doesn't really take my mom seriously when she cries either.

  5. His father spanked him. He brags about it all the time saying "I deserved it" and says that it somehow isn't child abuse. Any time I've had any kind of inconvenience with my parents, he would bring up spanking. One time, he looked at my mom and said "I think he needs an ass beat." And after he did that, he had the fucking audacity to say that he was just "trying to help me." This was during a time where I was suffering from a severe depression where I made several suicide attempts. This was the event that finally made me lose every last amount of respect I had for him.

At this point, I do not see him as my brother. I can't wait for the day I leave this house so I don't get to see that fucking pest ever again. Before I leave, however, I want to tell him how much I despise him and how I do not wish to see him again.

Thank you guys for listening to my story. I would love to hear your own stories as well.

For people living in non-imperialist nations, the fall of imperialism will probably make life somewhat easier, especially since it will make the transition to socialism much, much easier.

Many of us do not live in a communist country and do not have the opportunity or desire to move to one. Therefore, we must stay at home to fight to liberate our homeland.

Because of how bad life is going to decline, what can we do to survive financially, mentally, physically, socially, etc? What can we do in order to help liberate ourselves and our nations?

Perhaps we can look to our comrades many decades ago who conducted successful socialist revolutions in the past for inspiration, like in Cuba, China, Tsarist Russia, African nations, Indochina, Korea, etc. They were fighting in conditions much more dire than ours, or possibly even more dire than our future situation.

I am definitely not the only person who thinks that. There are many people who share similar sentiments, maybe even including you, dear reader.

Nostalgia is a very common feeling, just look at how many Russians want the USSR back! Having been born in 2005, I pretty much grew up with the internet going mainstream, with YouTube being created the same year I was born.

Back when it was new, it was mainly used by hobbyists that wanted to show off ~~pirated anime episodes~~ cool and/or funny things they made for fun. (Forgive me if this just sounds like a rose-tinted petty bourgeois fantasy.)

Then you know what happened next. Like so many fun stuff under capitalism, like JoeMarx has mentioned recently with video games, the internet was commodified and made into a dumbed-down addictive tool for instant gratification, all for profit.

EDIT: I am referring specifically to web culture, not the actual technology of the internet.

So we know that the USA can only avoid paying their debt because the USD is the world reserve currency, but once they actually have to pay it, it's going to be hell.

How is China going to deal with their own debt? Because it seems like they have a lot to pay back.

Personally, I think it's part of the petty-bourgeois delusion that a person can become part of the capitalist elite instead of realizing that they have more in common with the working class.

Inshallah, they gain independence.

By "socially progressive", I am referring to the things we usually refer to when it comes to social progress: acceptance of LGBTQ+, rights for women, anti-racism, respect for youth and elderly, etc.

By "conservative", it would mean opposition to such advances in social progress.

I'm not the best at wording this.

What "hate speech" are these guys talking about? Hasn't our instance documented tons of instances of hate speech on THEIR website?

Only realistic way that's happening is if Hezbollah gets involved.

Lebanese government, I honestly don't know too much about them, but I don't think they're going to get involved.

Egypt I heard got bombed recently just for trying to send humanitarian aid to Gaza, they just backed down, and they are too friendly to the West, they aren't getting involved.

Syria is in a civil war.

Jordan I think is too neutral as well.

Iran and North Korea probably would kick Israel's ass if they could but they're too far away to do anything outside of nuking them in the case of the DPRK.

Outside of Hezbollah, it looks pretty bleak unless Palestine can successfully liberate itself.

Vietnam: Scare the imperialists, give them PTSD, and make them too afraid to come back.

It's not even a territory where anybody lives

Imagine letting 24 people die over a piece of land that nobody lives in.
