And those flags stood for something. They stood for values, quality, and an uncompromising sense of style. Those flags stood for Old Navy. Where patriotic consumerism doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Only the military has to follow flag code. For anyone else, it's a courtesy.

no. not using the flag as clothing or whatever is talking about an actual flag, not the design being printed and used whatever other way. it's about changing/destroying an actual flag meant for flying as a flag and also only pertains to officials or orgs representing the govt. an individual citizen can do whatever they want with their purchased or homemade flags with the right of freedom of expression.

at least, for now.
