Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Anonymous sources have confirmed Buttigieg and his husband do not maintain eye contact during sex and always say "No homo" immediately before and afterwards, thus confirming their straightness.

In crew socks no less.

Anonymous sources

Anonymous sources have confirmed that his anonymous sources are himself, peeking into their bedroom window at night like a creep while wearing a fake mustache and glasses

~~former Fox News host~~ Russian mouthpiece

[–] doubtingtammy@lemmy.ml 19 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Dude is an American who has been spouting vile homophobia since before the soviet union dissolved

I think we all know who Tucker is. I meant mouthpiece for Russia, not that he is Russian.

He never should have been allowed back on television after Stewart shamed him into ditching the stupid bow ties

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 months ago

They're the same picture.

The actual interesting bit in this story is all the mounting evidence that Carlson himself is very likely closeted.

[–] ArbiterXero@lemmy.world 33 points 3 months ago

I never considered this…

I wonder ….. if in his mind….

“ he’s not gay, because he turned me down in an airport bathroom”

Maybe?

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago

That assumes pond scum has a sexuality.

[–] LovingHippieCat@lemmy.world 41 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Carlson "proof" was that a producer of his show who is also gay said so. Saying about his producer, "Gays all keep close track of that stuff.” I didn't know that gay folk all knew each other. I'm sure Tucker Carlsons producer is a well-connected gay person, totally not just a self-hating gay person who hates their community and anyone who is a part of their community who is well known.

The whole "GayDar" thing is a total myth. We actually have Homeshexual, an autonomous self-organising cryptographic mesh network.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 6 points 3 months ago

I actually work as a network engineer for the company. Maintaining those motes is a huge PITA.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 3 months ago

I didn’t know that gay folk all knew each other.

They all meet at the same cafe for brunch on the second Tuesday of every month.

[–] Warjac@lemmy.world 21 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Carlson won't tell you it's because he asked him out but he got rejected

"You are the weakest twink. Buh-bye!"

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 18 points 3 months ago

As someone who lived through the 90s it's pretty great that politicians are being accused of not being gay now. It shows how far acceptance has come.

[–] Corvidae@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

Carlson is just making a big deal about this because of the seeming emergence of Christian nationalism. Just trying to create a controversy, get his name in the news. What consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms is their own damn business and no one elses.

[–] LaterRedditor@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

"If he is really gay, why didn't he accept my offer for gaying each other"

[–] ATDA@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

NO!

I mean I don't give a shit either way but...

GASP SHOCKS

If it makes the accuser happy with themselves or whatever.

[–] GiddyGap@lemm.ee 1 points 3 months ago

What's with all the obsession about how other people choose to live their lives. These political types are just trying desperately to find something to be offended about constantly. Absurd.

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

Should I care about something that I don’t care about? Probably not.
