Donald Trump had a full-blown meltdown

How many more meltdowns before he becomes an angry puddle of orange faeces?

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 69 points 3 months ago
[–] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He saw what is to come and didn't like it. Simple as that. It all finally sank in.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Ap ap ap! After November, please and thank you.

[–] Xtallll@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He already looks like an elephant's foot.

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.sdf.org 14 points 3 months ago

You do make a compelling observation. The deadly toxicity is there for sure!

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

How many meltdowns until you become so crazy, it starts to resemble sanity?

[–] Hazzia@infosec.pub 3 points 3 months ago

They say there's a fine like between genius and crazy, in which case I'm sure he'll be dead long before that happens

[–] timewarp@lemmy.world 76 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

He's mad cause the Democrats are absolutely crushing it. They went from being over 3 points behind in most polls with Biden, to now being almost 4 points ahead on average. He's ignored the advice of all his campaign advisors... he really couldn't help himself. Now he's relying on Elon to help him "win" the election and it isn't working as expected. All they have left it is perpetuate conspiracies & lies and hope that Twitter (X) has enough reach to change the outcome of the election. Musk isn't even hiding that he's manipulating the algorithms and allowing bots to run rampant anymore. THAT is their strategy to try to win. If he loses then Musk will immediately try to sell if he can, but X is now worth a small fraction of what he paid for it. I'd be surprised if he could get 2 billion for it. This was in 2023:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/according-elon-musk-own-math-204413573.html

Musk will have literally thrown away $40+ billion if Kamala wins.

[–] Red_October@lemmy.world 70 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Musk has definitely thrown away $44+ Billion, regardless of the election outcome. He didn't buy twitter BECAUSE he wanted to manipulate an election in the future, he bought it because if he didn't the SEC had him dead to rights on stock manipulation charges. Musk had been openly claiming he was gonna buy twitter at meme-stock prices, driving up the stock price, without disclosing that he already owned a lot of twitter stock. He HAD to act like he meant it. It's also why he did everything he could to back out of the deal, including making up bullshit about how twitter lied about the state of the platform, he didn't want to go through with it. But Twitter came correct, proved they had their shit right, and literally forced him to go through with the sale.

[–] MagicShel@programming.dev 30 points 3 months ago (1 children)

If I had a legally binding offer of a billion dollars for my picket lint, I'd force that deal through, too. I kinda hate that Twitter sold out, but I wouldn't have done any different.

One of the sellers will go back and buy it off him for 250 million in a few years and have their cake and eat it, too.

[–] Cort@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Yeah I wouldn't eat that cake after all that musk has done to it

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 24 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Melanie must be so fucken happy

[–] timewarp@lemmy.world 46 points 3 months ago (2 children)

She's still married to him. If he loses the election and the Republican party turns against him, and if he ends up having to pay half a billion in damages from his court cases, she'll run to the media with some sob story about how she felt she couldn't leave him sooner.

[–] ticho@lemmy.world 31 points 3 months ago (1 children)

After leaving him, she can just make money by having someone ghost-write a "My Life With an Orange" book for her and selling that.

[–] acosmichippo@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago (1 children)

if she didn’t sign an NDA lol

[–] randompasta 10 points 3 months ago (2 children)

That's why he got shot. She's released from an NDA when he dies. Did she look concerned or upset that day or was she smiling just before the trigger was pulled? Did she have a "special" relationship with a few of the Secret Service guys? I really wonder.

[–] LaterRedditor@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

Big if true. Someone need to look into it 😕

[–] MagicShel@programming.dev 6 points 3 months ago

Shot? Oh, he's going out the window of one of his own buildings.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

Another poster had an interesting take today; She could have left him at any point and still be fucking a real billionaire while cruising the med in his super yacht.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 24 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Play by play? The whinefest was more like a Bray by bray.

Also can you believe this is a real poster from the Trump campaign and not something dreamed up by one of the late night comedy show hosts?

poster

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (2 children)

WTF‽‽‽ Is that real??? That's gotta be AI generated.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 8 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Noooooope, it's real.

And the hilarious thing is that Trump and Giuliani listed as "Invited Guest Speaker"s doesn't necessarily mean they're coming!

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 6 points 3 months ago

What would be absolutely hilarious is if they didn't show but the FBI did and grabbed all the people they missed/couldn't find lol

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 months ago

The keyword on the poster is "invited". We could all as can MAGAts by creating events that are $2,500 a head and saying Trump is invited to attend.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 23 points 3 months ago

May the twin albatrosses of Project 2025 and JD Vance sink him.

[–] numlok@lemmy.world 23 points 3 months ago (2 children)

The "deep end" business must be booming, as he seems to keep finding new ones to go off of.

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 17 points 3 months ago

it's going to take generations to repair the damage that this toxic sack of rapey traitorous shit has done to american society

[–] mokus@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 3 months ago

The Trump campaign is a conspiracy by Big Deep End to sell more deep end!

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 21 points 3 months ago

Occasionally, some of his posts veered into all-caps, probably when he was particularly upset, like when the Project 2025 manifesto was mentioned:  “LYING AGAIN ABOUT PROJECT 2025, WHICH SHE KNOWS, AND SO DO ALL DEMOCRATS, THAT I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH!” (She wasn’t lying.)

lol

[–] zephorah@lemm.ee 8 points 3 months ago

Catecholamine response isn’t good for the heart at his age.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago

Temper tantrum.

[–] Einstein@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 months ago

MeltDon Trump?

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 3 months ago

In the end, he’s just coming across as desperately deranged.

LMAO nice one to end the piece with.
