im gonna finally join my local DSA after they have been trying to recruit me for years. I am gonna agitate the fuck outta them libs (my local is actually pretty cool)

Also I’m with the DSA which I know causes pain to some individuals but I had to say it 👺 our local is cool that’s the way it is sorry folks

A lot of DSA locals are cool from what I’ve seen and read and I think the DSA serves an important function as an entry point in the leftist pipeline, especially whenever locals set up reading clubs to cover actual theory.

The DSA has the Marxist Unitt Group so there is still a chance. And I think quite a few people in the DSA just got a hard lesson on harm reduction voting so maybe it will radicalize them a bit.

Spent the last month preparing for this obvious L with comrades and we are going to make these libs do stuff weather they like it or not

i wonder how many else did. it was only a fear in the back of my head until my ex-maga father called me after the debate to vent about how kamala as being so rude/disrespectful/aggressive/mean/etc. to trump and asked "why can't she just be nice". then seeing all the liberals on the lemmyverse champion her performance the next day with shallow critiques made me aware of the disconnected between harris supporters and reality.

i still only gave it a 49% chance of it happening in my mind and i'm kicking myself for falling into the same trap i did with bernie in 2020 & 2016 and clinton in 1996.
