My phone is dying and i also really want to increase my privacy and fully decouple myself from the google ecosystem so i was thinking of moving to a pixel and using grapheneOS. Now is the time before tech prices shoot way up from tariffs. What model of pixel should i get that isnt too expensive but isnt likely to lose grapheneOS support anytime soon? I was thinking like a 7 maybe

7 and above for sure. 8a is the cheapest option buying new due to discounts the 7a doesn't get

Ive got a 7 pro and been running graphene os for a few months. No complaints

I am using some apps from google play store as well as google maps though, but privacy wise there are still benefits to using graphene os

GraphneOS has an extensive list of devices and how long they plan to support them on their FAQ. A 7 series is probably the minimum I'd go with based on that list.

Can we still use a plus one if we buy it cash and thrn import it? I feel like there should be a more optimal solution to getting off android than the Google brand phone.
