Elon Musk is backing the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), triggering an outcry in Berlin in the run-up to a critical snap election.

“Only the AfD can save Germany,” the billionaire X owner wrote on the platform on Friday in the latest of a series of endorsements of European far-right parties.

Musk has recently supported European populist-right politicians in increasingly clear terms, including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloniand Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. Earlier this week, Farage boasted that Musk is “right behind” him — and raised the prospect that the tech tycoon would financially back his Reform UK party.

Musk needs to die. He's the single most dangerous person on the planet, moreso than Trump himself or even Putin.

I hope some brave schmuck close to him is prepared to sacrifice everything. I would do it myself if there was any realistic chance of success.

And before this disappears due to "advocating violence" - he and his ilk don't just advocate violence but actually visit it upon us, on a daily basis. Fuck off with your righteousness. Tyrants should never be suffered.

I'm still hoping for him to OD on ketamine.

[–] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 3 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (3 children)

That would be an amazing death. I wouldn't wish him to die so kindly. I don't mind if Musk would bleed out in the streets or something. And I'm against killing people in general, I don't see how that could benefit anyone... With some exceptions. Like Hitler, Putin, Musk, etc. But to be clear, I don't have plans and I don't want to push others to do something... I'm just saying I wouldn't mind.

Also, OD on ket is really hard to do.

By itself sure, but add a hot tub and boom!

[–] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 1 points 47 minutes ago

I've been K-holing in a hot tub, still hard AF. Maybe if he would do ketamine and drive a cybertruck it would work but that would endanger others. It does sound like something he would do, take as much people down with him.

It's really hard to OD on Ketamine. More likely he either will or has already developed K bladder... which is not fun and permanent

[–] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 1 points 38 minutes ago

I doubt he does more ketamine then me, and I have no bladder issues (tested). You'd need to be addicted or have a weak bladder or something to get it, otherwise you're fine. Just make sure you drink enough liquids. AFAIK he's just a recreational user, just like me.

He apparently takes massive amounts of the stuff at parties.

[–] punkisundead@slrpnk.net 2 points 15 hours ago

He is like the prime goal for any Luigi out there.

~~far-right~~ fascist Alternative for Germany (AfD)

European ~~populist-right~~ fascist politicians, including Italian Prime Minister and Mussolini devotee Giorgia Meloniand Reform UK leader and inbred British bigotry incarnate Nigel Farage

Fixed it.

His dad recently saying how proud he is that elon is finally embracing his family's political leanings and then immediately talking about there's a long history of Nazis in the family is just hilarious

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

His dad is even worse than he is. Which is pretty amazing.

Musk is a real danger to the world. He is throwing his essentially infinite resources behind fascist politicians everywhere he can. We are looking at likely fascist takeovers in Germany, France and the UK, as well as the USA and a swing to the hard right in Canada. Other European countries have already gone fascist. It would be like the 1930s and 40s except that some powerful countries still fought against fascism then. Now it seems to be taking over everywhere.

Musk is a significant force in this movement. We urgently need an effective popular movement against billionaires.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Musk isn't acting alone because he doesn't directly have much money.

Let us not lose sight of the banks that offer wealthy individuals zero interest loans against hyper pumped stock portfolios that are only worth a mere fraction of their on paper value.

Musk is absolutely a villain but we also have a fucked up system ready to empower a replacement. They're both problems.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 1 points 11 hours ago

Let's crash some stocks then...

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 50 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We're still not even a single day into Trump being president.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago

You mean Musk being president.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

We really need to do something about him.

Any ideas?

[–] CitizenKong@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

He wanted to go to Mars right? I say we give him any means so he can.

[–] drdiddlybadger@pawb.social 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Hopefully Germany sees how shit he is at anything and rejects any party influenced by him.

[–] EleventhHour@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ah, yes, the dealbreaker for any German politician: inefficient bureaucracy.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Dealing with the German bureaucracy when I don't even speak the language is exactly why I haven't explored getting German citizenship even though I technically am eligible. The technicality involves Nazi Germany and my Jewish grandfather being declared stateless by them, but not becoming a UK citizen until after my father was born.

One day maybe I'll work to untangle that mess, but it sounds like a nightmare.
