Through his account on the X platform, the Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies, William Castillo, presented a document that confirms the Venezuelan Government's repeated denunciations of covert operations to execute a coup d'état and civil war in the country.
“U.S. Mercenary Syndicates claim their presence in Venezuela for 'covert operations' (covert operations), advice and military training to the violent opposition. In other words, everything that President Nicolas Maduro and Minister Diosdado Cabello have informed the country is absolutely true. Their plans included terrorist acts and the assassination of high representatives of Chavismo”, reported Castillo.
In the publication, the deputy minister annexes a document that they exposed this Friday, January 10 in the X account of @Matt_VanDyke, who is founder of what he describes as a Non-Profit Organization, conformed by Ukrainian veterans who fight against Russia and call themselves “Sons of Liberty International”, in the document they expose their presence and participation in the facts of violence experienced in the country since 2019.
“I have been running covert operations with a Venezuelan rebel commander since 2019. You've read about our missions in the media, like Operation Aurora, but no one knew who did it. The Venezuelan team and I agreed to disclose this today. We will continue until #Venezuela is free,” is the message posted on the network accompanied by a document.
In the document the mercenary of the “Non-Profit Organization”, assures that he and the (Venezuelan) commander plan the missions and he provides the funds, “we help using various methods, from providing training and military advice to more direct actions, including covert operations”, is part of the statement of the mercenary group.
