it's funny, Redbook's interface is clearly a carbon-copy of TikTok's (which IIRC was a carbon copy of Vine's) but the ads are all "inline" so they don't "pop up" they kinda disguise themselves as regular videos and "play next".
When you realize that you can do a "zoom in" and that makes all of the HUD elements disappear it really improves the experience.
Thinking about that George Carlin bit where he says he doesn't pray to God but to Joe Pesci; because Joe Pesci looks like the type of guy that gets shit done.
