I'd pick President Camacho over Trump. Easy choice.

He's also stupid but not mean-spirited, and in the end, he listens to the smarter guy.

in the end, he listens to the smarter guy.

That's how you know it's fiction.

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 23 points 6 days ago

Probably CEO of the newly created department of foreign grifting.

[–] 1984 16 points 6 days ago

Relationship Counselor? :p

[–] blady_blah@lemmy.world 7 points 5 days ago

He'll champion women's rights. Trump always picks the worst person for the job.

Executive Fluffer

Those charges are going to be dropped

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 56 points 5 days ago (6 children)

The Southern District of New York (SDNY) attorney’s office is the same office that ran investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and singer R Kelly. The office also recently charged Sean “Diddy” Combs with sex trafficking and other federal offences.

Oh shit, fam. I thought the Trump admin was gonna give him a pass. Maybe not? I mean, I know NY is not Trump. I’m very happy to read this. I don’t think this can be pardoned because it’s a state charge, not a federal charge? Get ‘em!

[–] brysmi@lemmy.world 22 points 5 days ago (2 children)

I don’t think this can be pardoned because it’s a state charge, not a federal charge?

SDNY is Federal.

This investigation will be dropped.

That’s a real funny way to spell “has a job interview with the administration”

[–] Phoenicianpirate@lemm.ee 26 points 5 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (3 children)

Just toss his ass in prison already. He should spend the rest of his life there, and after he dies in prison they should send his body to Romania to buried in some prison graveyard there, symbolic of how he tried to escape justice there, but that is where his body will rest.

Epstein would have been pardoned

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 6 points 4 days ago

He would be vice president

[–] ceenote@lemmy.world 52 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

I'm doubt that will be the case for long. Can't have the DoJ doing its job, now.

[–] The_Caretaker@lemm.ee 30 points 5 days ago (5 children)

The Tate brothers may have to pay for their crimes in UK and Romania but in the USA they can just buy pardons from Trump. If they give a little extra money to the Orange Demon, they might even get a cabinet post.

he will "donate" $1m to Trump and be out the next day

[–] Damionsipher@lemmy.world 41 points 6 days ago (2 children)

I wonder if murdering him in the street would be considered terrorism by the US Gov't?

[–] blakenong@lemmings.world 26 points 6 days ago (2 children)

There are more important things to do with that bullet.

[–] Mac@mander.xyz 22 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Good thing bullets aren't prohibitively expensive.

[–] blakenong@lemmings.world 10 points 6 days ago

Yes but, people willing to do what’s needed are very few

Investigating him for a pardon?

I just feel like maybe this is conflating lonely men with misogynists, which obviously are not mutually exclusive, but there are plenty of lonely males that aren’t hateful

[–] Zink@programming.dev 12 points 5 days ago (1 children)

It could be, but I imagine that a lot of nice lonely guys are suffering the consequences of the assholes that embody the first three steps.

[–] QuantumSparkles@sh.itjust.works 11 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Maybe that’s where I’m misunderstanding the meme or I’m being unfairly reactionary—because I agree with your sentiment and I agree that it is absolutely an epidemic that’s damaging society and hurting people in extremely far reaching ways

I smell an executive order coming in fast to make him hands off to justice and the crimes he’s committed.

Would expect nothing else from this pathetic government.

[–] SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca 13 points 6 days ago (4 children)

No, the way it works is they start an investigation so they can suspend it later. That way if he doesn't do exactly what they want they want they can just re-open the investigation. It's how they handled the Mayor of NYC.

To keep a scumbag loyal you need to keep the threat of jail time hanging over him.

[–] dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

This is it. This is how mobs operate. A culpable employee is a loyal employee.

As a bonus: his sin isn't even tied to the organization. So blowing him up would be essentially risk free - a quality hire if there ever was one.

Edit: dammit, this is going to really happen, isn't it?

incoming trumptard pardon... rapists look after one another

[–] SulaymanF@lemmy.world 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Trump got him out of jail and his party got angry at him for it. So his partisan DOJ of course is opening the investigation.

He’s not innocent but this is also politically motivated. They wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t for Trump meddling. I miss having an independent DOJ.

[–] Doctor_Satan@lemm.ee 2 points 4 days ago (4 children)

The DoJ didn't open this investigation. SDNY did. DoJ is just not interfering.
