Thats a great point, even the diet doctor recipe search doesn't have that.

They do let you search by protein type, and dairy-free, but not gluten intolerance, for example.

uhhh, from what i can tell it's not really recommended for diabetics to go on a keto diet, especially not if you're on insulin..

This is the perfect community to discuss that. What have you heard the problems are?

Here are two great papers discussing T2D's and their reversal of T2D, while on insulin, and doing keto

The most important thing when starting a ketogenic health plan is to map out medications and if any could be impacted by the new metabolism and work with a doctor to observe and titrate them down as necessary. I.E. People on insulin will have to aggressively monitor their blood glucose levels and modify their dosing, with the help of a medical provider. This only demonstrates how effective a low carbohydrate is for treating diabetes.
