Why would you go to Japan to live like a Muslim? I would imagine most Japanese would rather see their population shrink.

A bit to late for that

Gotta spread the word of Allah through the power of Anime, I guess.

While Japan is in the process of accepting foreigners and learning how to adapt, foreigners should learn about limitations and be ready to not have all their needs met.

I moved to a different country when I was 30, and still live in that country. Not all of my needs and way of life are what they were, but I understand that this country doesn’t operate the same way as my home country and I can either deal with the limitations or go back to my home country.

Just curious: from which country to which other country did you move?

TBF 30 years ago, living in the USA was better than practically anywhere else outside of Europe and a few other countries. Nowadays, not so much...

People in the USA don't need to travel for that, just wait.

[–] Scrollone@feddit.it 5 points 19 hours ago

Wait? I thought the current administration already took care of that

What needs would you say are not met?

Japan is too racist to open their borders; they're even worse than America when it comes to xenophobia.

[–] Scrollone@feddit.it 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah, and don't even try moving there if you're a black person. Full blown racism.

Or even white. Or the wrong kind of Asian. Or the wrong kind of Japanese.

Boy if Betteridge was ever in play today, it's this article.
