They never thought it was cool, dude.
Cyberstuck
A place to post your Cybertruck fails! We're here to make fun of this hunk of shit and throw as much shade as we can to that garbage bag of a human elon.
No doxxing No slurs No racism And no fucking nazis!
Pretty pathetic to hope to impress children with a truck. In fact, just trying to impress people with a vehicle tells me all I need to know about that person.
It wasn't that he was trying to impress, that was a neat side effect. What he's really talking about is the humiliation of a bunch of easily impressed children thinking you're a dork. Ouch.
You know what would really impress that group of children? A Costco size box of rocket pops.
The Cybertruck is less cool than $20 worth of frozen sugar water.
If you want to impress folks with a vehicle go to a car show, quite often they respect both stock but well maintained cars and absolute monstrosities that are doing their own thing. I once saw a Yugo with a V10 shoved into it, I was pretty damned impressed.
The swasticar is junk but showing off cool stuff to your kid's friends is pretty innocent from nice cars to home stereos
I'm new to this. My kids are toddlers.
Of course I will want their friends to think they're cool and have cool stuff.
This guy seems to have taken it to the next level somehow though.
Paid for an overpriced, under-engineered piece of garbage from a Nazi.
It broke.
Kids laughed at the broken, overpriced, under-engineered piece of garbage I bought from a Nazi.
Kids are cruel.
In bambino veritas
"the children were initially cheering"
yeah bud, sure they were.
People really imagine this is what owning one would be like
They were cheering, they were.
And one of those children? Albert Einstein.
I can see it. Those things look like giant toys and are still rare enough to catch the eye. If the kids were even moderately hyped, "My dad has a CYBERTRUCK! Wait till you see!", I can see plenty of yelling.
I have a 9 and 11-yo. They'll dance and scream if they see a fish or snake or funky bug, well, anything.
And then everyone clapped
back at the stupid idiot and his stupid "truck"
Fuck, frunk is the dumbest word I've ever heard and the fact that it can't be manually opened is just ridiculous.
Admittedly I probably would have thought it was cool looking when I was a kid. Luckily the only children who can afford them are manchildren.
I thought it was pretty cool looking, until I saw one up close. I cannot overstate how drastically my opinion shifted. As I've said here before, we could only cram 15 bags of mulch into the "bed" and the man had to make a third trip to get all his stuff. Oh, and he couldn't close the top.
For context, I can cram 15 bags in my Mitsubishi Spyder (convertible Eclipse) and put the top back down. We fit 40 bags in a regular truck, easily. Hell, I've hauled pallets of mulch home, pallet and all. Had a dude pull up in a passenger car with a monstrous trunk, about the same size as a cyber bed.
Now when I see one in the parking lot I get a viscereal reaction, wanting to kick the shit out of it. Don't want to be responsible to totaling the thing with my combat boots.
Would you have, though? Did you think the Nissan Cube was cool? The Cybercuck is just so boxy, and the stainless steel is so ugly and boring...
I can see that. Although, the awesome trucks in our kid imagination looked like the cybertruck on paper. All that is missing is the pube-lines to indicate lights.
Like what, these kids had never seen one of these dumbass trucks? Just such a weird thing to lie about.
The children were "cheering" the cybertruck as it pulled up? This is what people who purchase certain types of vehicles imagine will happen, but it never does. I don't believe him.
"frunk" sounds like another word for smegma.
🤢
A bunch of 6 year olds WOULD think the cyber truck is cool, it looks like it was drawn by one
That’s a very specific number of kids. Did he count each and every one of them?
All the kids also clapped for 32.5 seconds as the Cybertruck pulled in.
I’d guess it’s the typical number on two baseball teams.
The kids are alright.
Aww, how is he supposed to cruise for 12 year olds now?
Remember kids, this is what happens in a dying capitalist society. They don't build em like they used to.
