It won’t work for all girls, but it will work for the right girl.

[–] rosymind@leminal.space 20 points 1 year ago

It would absolutely have worked on me... back in the day

"Whoops, I dropped my monster admission pass that I use for my magnum botanical garden."

[–] blackbrook@mander.xyz 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's not the size of your arboretum...

[–] Rozz@lemmy.sdf.org 8 points 1 year ago

It's not the growth of your trees

It's the arrangement of your gardens

Heyyyyy…What’s your third favorite cactus?

She knows the botanical gardens are free access but pretends not to

Shit, it's $15 per person in Denver. An annual pass would work on me for sure. I have the zoo and the science museum but a girl can only afford so many memberships.

[–] agent_flounder@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

There's always Hudson Gardens.

I guess $15 isn't given how much there is to see.

Phipps in Pittsburgh, which is wonderful, is not free and I have 100% taken multiple dates there and its always a panty-dropper

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

Not all of them, obvs

I remember a guy I went on a date with whipped out his annual museum membership pass when we went there. It legitimately sealed the deal for me.

We went on many more dates.

And you're currently married?

[–] SharkEatingBreakfast@sopuli.xyz 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No, but unfortunately, he was.

[–] pineapplelover@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

Ah shoot. Didn't see that coming.

I bought a botanical garden pass last year. Solid deal.

Much of it goes to upkeep and giving a job to Betty, a 70yo cashier.

He must use Arch.

My move was a Five Guys frequent customer card with all the holes punched out. Who would pass up a free burger?

[–] Classy@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 year ago

Me with my annual state park pass

[–] JamesConeZone@hexbear.net 5 points 1 year ago

But this would actually work on me tho
