Sometimes it feels like being happy that Trumpers are suffering is like cheering when a disease dies with the host. It's a momentary happiness that the Balrog fell... milliseconds before you realize it's pulling you down with it.
Nah, not like that at all. More like having the tiniest drop of schadenfreud when the idiot bus driver finally realizes they fell asleep on the job again and we're about to go off the cliff. Much better when the idiots responsible for this mess realize it than not.
