Israel just carried out a widespread bombing of Iran, which has killed a number of senior officials inside Iran (though it seems the leadership is more-or-less intact) as well as a number of civilians. Important facilities have been targeted, but the amount of damage is unknown so far (note that many important Iranian facilities are deep underground, making them both hard to damage but also hard to determine if they are damaged from just satellite imagery, so reports of damage will be he-said-she-said).

It appears the attack took Iran by surprise, given that a residential block was targeted that contained some senior officials - if one saw an attack coming, one would imagine they'd be in bunkers. Nonetheless, like the rest of the Resistance Axis, I suspect that Iran has adapted their military structures to be resistant to decapitation strikes by ensuring that replacement figures are ready to take the place of killed officials.

Iran has delivered a massive missile barrage in response to Israeli aggression, even though Israel is continuing to bomb Iran. Iran is now aware of the location of many important Israeli sites, including secret nuclear sites, due to their recent intelligence haul, giving them a distinct edge.

Israel-Palestine Conflict

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

UNRWA reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists
Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Sources:

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Pro-Russian Telegram Channels:

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.
https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine Telegram Channels:

Almost every Western media outlet.
https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

Iran has a 3D model of the city of Tel Aviv, including all target banks with the smallest details that will be hit in the coming days.

More Tel Aviv impacts

Come to think of it, if Iran pulled out of nuclear deal even earlier, these attacks would have happened back then. Righ now is probably one of the better times to pull out of these deals. There does not seem to be any better opportunities on horizon for this honestly

A very short thread.

In Jewish towns, every house and neighbourhood comes with public and private shelters that can be accessed at any time and within a few minutes, in Arab towns, no such shelters exist, here's a map comparing the number of public shelters:

The full story manages to be worse than the headline even suggests:

"The Iranian [nuclear program] is a threat, but the loss of the value of human life is an existential threat," Danny Elgarat, whose brother Itzik died in Hamas captivity, said on X on Saturday.

"When the state forgets its duty to its citizens, when it sacrifices living hostages for propaganda, when it turns its back on 53 souls crying out in the darkness, the biggest threat is no longer from Iran. It's here, among us, in the apathy, the abandonment, the silence."

"It's not only the leadership that forgot, it's also the media that decided to ignore [the hostages]," he added.

IGNORE!!! the MEDIA!!!

Top story of Jerusalem Post:

Front page of Times of Israel (and crtl+f = 17 hits on page):

A number of protesters stood outside the home of Economy and Industry Minister Ni Barkat with a poster of the hostages still in Gaza. Others stood at junctions, or marched through their cities calling to bring attention to the hostages.

These ungrateful entitled fucks are protesting because for 3 days the state of israel has been slightly sidetracked by its greater goals of regional domination. I doubt the slaughter and torture of Palestinians which is being conducted ostensibly on their behalf has even slown down. I'm sure by now it will continue apace without the personal, daily attentions of the entire political leadership of the country.

The eternal and profound sense of aggrievement is truly astounding.

What became of the defense pact signed between Iran and Russia? Seems like it was mostly a trade and counter-terrorism framework.

[–] MarmiteLover123@hexbear.net 49 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (5 children)

It was mostly about economic co operation and trade, I posted the full agreement a few months ago, very little on security co operation, the only security clause was that one side cannot support a country at war with the other side. So to abide by the deal, all Russia has to do is not militarily support the United States and Israel.

I'll dig up my post on it soon and paste the link here.

Thousands of people in Spain demand an end to aggression against Gaza - Prensa Latina

Article

Madrid, Jun 15 (Prensa Latina) Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in the last hours in favor of Palestine in several cities of Spain, and against Israel's aggression against Gaza.

Stop the genocide in Gaza and a tribute to the journalists who cover the terrible events, were two of the main slogans of the demonstrations in 138 Spanish cities or towns, in which support was also expressed for the State of Palestine.

The Stop the War platform was in charge of promoting the marches and rallies, the day before and this Sunday, with the presence among others of the film director Pedro Almodóvar, the actress Malena Alterio or the musician Miguel Ríos, as well as the former head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrel.

On the other hand, according to an official communiqué, the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, intensified his diplomatic activity in response to the military escalation in the Middle East.

Albares held talks with his counterparts from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with the aim of seeking an urgent de-escalation, curbing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and reinforcing the commitment to a political and lasting solution.

According to the source, he spoke with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, and both agreed on the need to join efforts to contain the violence and move towards a just peace, based on the recognition of the State of Palestine and the two-state solution.

Albares also spoke with the Prime Minister and Chancellor of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa, with whom he analyzed the situation in Gaza and the region.

In this context, he highlighted the recent resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, promoted by Spain and Palestine, which demands an immediate cease-fire.

Meanwhile, in his dialogue with the Lebanese Foreign Minister, Youssef Rajji, the Spanish diplomat expressed his concern about regional instability and called for restraint on the part of all actors.

In addition, Albares exchanged views with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, to whom he conveyed Spain's recognition of Egypt's mediation efforts to stop the war in Gaza and move towards the implementation of the two-state solution.

Finally, he spoke with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to whom he stressed the urgent need to avoid a further escalation of violence and reaffirmed Spain's commitment to a secure and prosperous Middle East based on mutual respect.

On the issue of Israel's attacks on Iran and Tehran's response, the Government of Spain demanded restraint from the parties and an immediate cessation of violence.
