I'm not far from Miami and thought I'd catch a game. Cheapest I've found is 140. I haven't been able to find a single seat that isn't on the resell market. I noticed Philadelphia didn't even bother selling seats in the upper sections. Meanwhile Miami looks half full in the lower sections and about 75% in the uppers.

I'm at the point of wanting a break from football, but even if I wasn't, it would need to take place in Europe where football's biggest audience is.

The economic situation there gets in the way, sadly.

Maybe we don’t need fancy stadiums and lucrative tv deals. We just need people playing footie and people watching them for fun.

I’m starting to think the more ethical option might just be to start supporting my local grassroots team…
