What the fuck man?

Canada calls on parties to return immediately to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis. As G7 leaders agreed in Kananaskis, the resolution of the Iranian crisis should lead to a broader de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in Gaza.

Like, we had a diplomatic solution. Iran has been playing by the rules regarding it's nuclear enrichment. With constant inspection and strong surveillance from a bunch of different countries. U.S. intelligence knew there were no weapons or even any possibility of them having uranium that's enriched enough for weapons use. They advised Trump against attacking. And Iran had a deal with the U.S. Trump screwed them over really badly on this one.

This is just Netanyahu being a psychopath hellbent on destroying every Arab nation in the Middle-East. He's been escalating hostilities in that region by himself the entire fucking time.

Carney is just playing politics trying to not upset Trump's fragile ego. But, c'mon. This has the potential to increase hostilities worldwide. Stop dancing around the pot and call the motherfucker out for being gravely incompetent and stupid.

Glad I didn't waste a vote on this guy. Sorry that my advocacy didn't lead to a weaker minority government for him.

I'm glad we both made sure he got a minority. In a perfect world the liberals and conservatives wouldn't have enough seats to pass corporate bills together.

yea, im happy to have him over PP, but wish we hand the NDP as the Official Opposition instead of the Cons.

I don't know, man. A lot of Iranians in Canada have no love for the government there...I don't personally know any that do. Most of them have no illusions about the potential collateral damages, but see it as the only way to free Iran from the current regime.

A lot of Iranians think the CIA installed the Ayotolla and that the Shah was loved by the people and democratic but they don't know who Mossadeq was.

Being Iranian doesn't automatically mean you have a correct opinion about Iran.

Just ask the Canadians at the trucker convoy pleading the fifth.

I've spoken with a few, and you are correct in that they dislike the current regime.

However, even more so, they hate the US and its role over the past half century in coups, regime change, the rise of authoritarian theocratic rule, and sanctioning the people to nothingness.

If the US could mind its own fucking business and stop overthrowing democratic leaders in the name of oil and perpetual warfare, that'd be great.

Regime changes should come from within not by foreign powers wanting to install a friendlier government forcing the people to flee to Turkey for safety. The US has no say on this topic.

I completely agree. But, try telling that to them.

One guy I work with was dancing around praising Trump's name, when he heard they joined in on the bombing. He's gay, and originally fled the country to avoid being forced to have a sex change. Dude would love nothing more than to see Israel assassinate every single one of Iran's religious leaders.
