Become homeless, I suppose.

Can't get into my bank? Work won't let me in because they don't recognize me? Nobody's going to hire me without ID or a background check. So I guess I'm a bum now.

Folks here hoping to reclaim their identity: how, exactly? No birth certificate, no drivers license, no passport... how, exactly, are you going to prove you're you?

Yeah, there’s no way to recover your identity once that happens. No one recognizes you and your identity is scrubbed. You are shit out of luck.

So you have two choices

1: Become a bum

2: Become an assassin , good luck on finding a person whose identity has been scrubbed.

Lol, I'm a privacy advocate. I've seen how many websites have my data, and played the cat and mouse game of opt out requests.

This is a dream. I would mourn my stellar credit score, degrees, and professional certs, but I would go pick up shifts as a plumber's apprentice and just go enjoy life.

do you maintain a private life? like only using cash for payments, etc.?

[–] hansolo 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah, I would want to eat food and whatnot, so I wold probably want money which I can trade for goods and services.

Start a new life without people holding me back. Probrally start a mass Anarchist movement in my area as well.

Probably try to get my identity back. I'm not trying to escape anything currently, and not having documentation is a dangerous thing in the world these days.

Terrible things to terrible people.

Claim asylum in Canada, telling them exactly what happened. And with this unstable political climate, they just might actually take my claim seriously. Or maybe Mark Carney will not want to do that because they worry about pissing off that lunatic below them in the meth lab, until he can make a solid trade deal.

Find a nice squat, I suppose. Then get to work on securing a new legal identity.
