And those investors have all reasons to expect that any sanctions/tariffs/whatever would be postponed even further after these 50 days.

Russia doesn't give a shit about American sanctions. They have managed with the sanctions already imposed on them.
Russia may not, but many of the countries currently buying cheap oil from Russia will. If sanctions against India, China, Turkey, etc. result in them halting, or even lowering, payments to Russia then it has the desired effect.
as well as ensure that those countries do everything in their power to get out from the american thumb and end up enabling brics further.
