Are these consequences in the room with us right now?

[-] darvocet@infosec.pub 25 points 7 months ago

Show us on the doll where the consequences touched you.

[-] robdor@lemmynsfw.com 17 points 7 months ago

They go to a different school. You wouldn't know them.

[-] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 7 points 7 months ago

This school also happens to be in Canada.

[-] JakenVeina@lemm.ee 9 points 7 months ago

Thanks for the giggle.

Maybe they're like the Picture of Dorian Gray and the consequences get remand/custody, not Trump. Wonder how it'll end?

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 126 points 7 months ago

I can't help but notice that the article never laid out what the immediate consequences were.

Because the only consequence I can see was that the gag order was reinstated. Not exactly a huge punishment.

[-] TigrisMorte@kbin.social 56 points 7 months ago

the gag order that in no way has shown consequence for his ignoring it.

[-] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 7 months ago

The pittance level fines are the only “consequence”.

[-] TigrisMorte@kbin.social 6 points 7 months ago

A fine is just a cost of business for the wealthy.

[-] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 7 months ago

Worse, he’ll probably try to write these off as marketing expenses. Since that’s what he’s using it for that might actually be more legit than any of the other bullshit he’s been telling the IRS for decades.

[-] TigrisMorte@kbin.social 2 points 7 months ago

Plus a double dip by billing it to the campaign.

Trump's 48-Hour Manic Rant

You're gunna have to be more specific

[-] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 16 points 7 months ago

Yeah the last 8-9 years of 48 hour rants.

[-] WashedOver@lemmy.ca 8 points 7 months ago

You mean there has been breaks?

[-] OutlierBlue@lemmy.ca 10 points 7 months ago

Sometimes he's asleep.

[-] Sanctus@lemmy.world 25 points 7 months ago

That two tier justice system really showing right now.

[-] KnowledgeableNip@leminal.space 22 points 7 months ago

Can we make drug testing a part of the election process? I could normally give a shit but I'm curious just how many uppers this man's on.

[-] SapphironZA@lemmings.world 10 points 7 months ago

It's called rampant narcissism. Unfortunately it is a brain defect with no treatment except for public humiliation.

[-] Rivalarrival 11 points 7 months ago

Unfortunately it is a brain defect with no treatment except for public humiliation.

That's not completely true. Antoine Louis, a French doctor, has developed a revolutionary protocol for treating this defect. It showed highly encouraging results in its first round of human testing.

[-] emeralddawn45@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 7 months ago

Thought it was gonna end up being a lobotomy, but that's good too. Or just make politicians take a yearly psychologist assisted psychedelic dosing regimen.

[-] SapphironZA@lemmings.world 0 points 7 months ago

I suggest you "treat" a random 10% of them each year. Should prune the crop to a manageable level.
